Blue Boy 03:56
I went floating through the sandlewoods I saw a blue boy standing, staring into my eyes So still, so fertile, full My gate trembles, my eyes lax The boy flutters his flute, milky and mute It grows and it cuts through my nerves resolute on the eternal now now now now He stops and steps Down from his fixture, leaving a mixture Of creamy baby blue against the sandlewood And he takes me by my affect The earth seems to shake, but nothing will wake I feel I'm the only one changing and shaking and slipping Into the blueness of the boy and his light, graceful gaze And I'm terrified and still and blissful and swirling And he whispers in my ear just to tell me All is love

Back before 1903 The plural of "nose" was "nees" But then the International Language Council changed it to "noses" You say it, you sing it, the same when you hear it You scribe it, you write it, it's all in the appearance The context's the killer, the tiller in the miller A million grains of corn meal on the pan Slippery And every shin shall bow And knee confess “we’re too close now” Our faces to the floor, we can’t smell anymore Our nees pressed closed on the concrete’s throws It’s not up to me, but the ILC will oversee communication Treading lightly, smelling with our knees Emancipation! Like flowers in a eunuch's hair, it wears me out- Doors trusted in my care, we’re too close now A hole, a rose, a book, my nose mistook The concrete for the sky one more time I close my eyes, I see him I look around and see myself Mirror eyes on the backside void Allergic to the winged You brought the bug spray just for me A finger’s touch stills the waters rough 1903, when the ILC had come to see and fix the problem We balanced on our knees, arial and free, top and bottom Like fortune in a madman’s hands, it wears me down- Streams forming under land, we’re so close now Dirt, iris, and our prayers, it breaks the ground River emerges in the air, I smell it now

Pulling off the limbs so they will live again You place your hands on me DIgging up the dirt in spite of all the hurt You throw in all the seeds Know and hold yourself Stand and guard yourself Is myself too You said you cannot be the one You said you cannot be the one You said you cannot be the only one Touch the Earth instead, it’s where you’ll lay your head And comb your head into the grass I’ll lie right next to you if you would have me to And our heads will mesh at last Know and hold yourself Stand and guard yourself Is myself too You said you cannot be the one You said you cannot be the one You said you cannot be the only one And that’s when we can live as one So maybe we can live as one And our feet will sink into the ground

Know Thyself 06:40
It’s the wedding ceremony. I called from deep inside my mother’s veins. I was in love with a queen. A queen clad in leopard skin and with eyes like fire. We were processing towards our birth. The queen and I, we weren’t always on such good terms. Just before I met her, I had been sent into an ascending whirlwind. Jesus, Buddha, Shiva, and Mother Mary were all there, pushing me onward as demons outside of the whirlwind were telling me to keep looking forward. These jewel sparkles eventually morphed into the hand of my mother, reaching out to me as I entered into her finger and traveled down her veins as if I were as small as a speck of dust. The queen rode up to me from deep within the veins, sitting on her leopard and wielding a large scepter with a purple crystal blade at the end of it. All in one motion, she glided off of her leopard to point the blade in my face. I could smell her lavender breath, and it was cold. The queen was prepared for the ceremony. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, dressed in a blindingly white wedding gown; flowers in one hand and her leopard’s leash in the other. She was completely set apart. Music began to play and we flowed from my mother’s veins into her uterus. As we processed down the pink carpet a light began to shine on us, illuminating everything past the point of vision. We were borne again. Every living thing must surely die And every dying thing must come alive Fungus on the dead branch, corpse and dirt It bears, it bears, it bears, it bears on down Know thyself to be the stuff of stars Drifting through the black, that’s what we are Lift your weary head or lay it down Wear the fallen branches as your crown Knowing that this all will come around Behold, behold, behold the lotus heart If you don’t know yourself Then you can’t carry someone else

Blue Boy

I went floating through the sandlewoods
I saw a blue boy standing, staring into my eyes
So still, so fertile, full
My gate trembles, my eyes lax
The boy flutters his flute, milky and mute
It grows and it cuts through my nerves resolute on the eternal now now now now

He stops and steps
Down from his fixture, leaving a mixture
Of creamy baby blue against the sandlewood
And he takes me by my affect
The earth seems to shake, but nothing will wake
I feel I'm the only one changing and shaking and slipping
Into the blueness of the boy and his light, graceful gaze
And I'm terrified and still and blissful and swirling
And he whispers in my ear just to tell me

k/Nees/e

Back before 1903
The plural of "nose" was "nees"
But then the International Language Council changed it to "noses"

You say it, you sing it, the same when you hear it
You scribe it, you write it, it's all in the appearance
The context's the killer, the tiller in the miller
A million grains of corn meal on the pan

Slippery

And every shin shall bow
And knee confess “we’re too close now”
Our faces to the floor, we can’t smell anymore
Our nees pressed closed on the concrete’s throws

It’s not up to me, but the ILC will oversee communication
Treading lightly, smelling with our knees
Emancipation!

Like flowers in a eunuch's hair, it wears me out-
Doors trusted in my care, we’re too close now
A hole, a rose, a book, my nose mistook
The concrete for the sky one more time

I close my eyes, I see him
I look around and see myself
Mirror eyes on the backside void
Allergic to the winged
You brought the bug spray just for me
A finger’s touch stills the waters rough

1903, when the ILC had come to see and fix the problem
We balanced on our knees, arial and free, top and bottom

Like fortune in a madman’s hands, it wears me down-
Streams forming under land, we’re so close now
Dirt, iris, and our prayers, it breaks the ground
River emerges in the air, I smell it now

Pine Trees Are Purple

She says that pine trees are purple

Remember we watched water run, the river matter moving along
Morphing to the logs and branches, brush and patches of trashy treasures making mountains
Islands to explore
I land on the floor
Your eyes see so much more

In summer she’s strawberry pink, in winter she’s lavender

She says that pine trees are purple

Floating lightly, forest lightning bugs, they look like ornaments
Ordaining us into ordinary priest and priestess
Fungal cathedrals lined with purple pillars
Reach to the sky
Pull ourselves inside
I see through eye

She says that pine trees are purple

In the summer she’s strawberry pink, in the winter she’s lavender

Space to see the subtle undertone
The steady stream of love in everyone
Intuition, crown of Kali Ma
Into isness, the Tathata

She says that pine trees are purple

In the summer she’s strawberry pink, in the winter she’s lavender
The shimmer of raw cherry drinks me in love in her

She says that pine trees are purple

Heather

All my waves tear apart and pulse for you

Heather
All your dreams are dreamt in Latin
Heather
There’s no time to waste

Heather
All your words come out in color
Heather
All your steps massage the Earth’s core
Heather
Your name has the sweetest taste

All my fears are swept away by your love

Crystals

Transient crystals
Refracting movement breathes
Almost one thing
Dissolves in you, dissolves in me

Lavender in black
Flowers on your back
I pole vault in, I pole vault on
I pole vault off the side

Air

Long tall trees in low valleys
Reflected underground
Their arms tiredly pointing
To the single source of all refraction
Refraction

We do
Two in tune
We sink into love
We sink above
What we are: dying stars

Lock our movement
Sow improvement
Ode to the light
How patient and kind
Don’t fear the night
All is alright
Staggered still
Fading will

Air

Oh, the light, it feels so right

Stained Glass Window

Collect, heat, cool, form, shape, color, heat

Whisper wishes in an empty can
Hear the ocean give what it can’t
Takes it back right in, into itself
Vomit on the sand, reach back and back and back

Turns and turns and heats and burns
Stained glass window, stay past wind, oh
Goes and grows and shapes and glows
Stained glass window

Break in the wave

Our Feet Will Sink Into the Ground

Pulling off the limbs so they will live again
You place your hands on me
DIgging up the dirt in spite of all the hurt
You throw in all the seeds

Know and hold yourself
Stand and guard yourself
Is myself too

You said you cannot be the one
You said you cannot be the one
You said you cannot be the only one

Touch the Earth instead, it’s where you’ll lay your head
And comb your head into the grass
I’ll lie right next to you if you would have me to
And our heads will mesh at last

Know and hold yourself
Stand and guard yourself
Is myself too

You said you cannot be the one
You said you cannot be the one
You said you cannot be the only one
And that’s when we can live as one
So maybe we can live as one
And our feet will sink into the ground

Basic Brilliance

The beauty in a moment passed
Reverberations decaying fast
I’m dying to a jewel
A sparkle elsewhere captures me
I run to find in pointing
Right back to its source
Pointing right back to its source

The source that burns a hole right through
My trying eyes, they look for you
Oh, hold me like a stream
But don’t coddle me
It’s all just a dream
We’re ripping at the seams

Basic brilliance, look deeply
The grass, it speaks, the flowers sing
Calling me to you
Calling me to you
To see the sparkle of the jewel
Reflections that dance the dual
Mirroring the source
Mirroring the source

The source that whispers waning wings
Onto my back when I can’t seem
To bring myself to call
Oh, but the seeds must fall
To grow at all
I feel so small

Don’t regret a thing
The Truth is whole
And it’s here
There’s nothing to hold
But hold it dear

Look it in its face
So bright it’s black
With strength to see
Don’t hold it back
So weightlessly heavy

So weightlessly heavy

Gana King

* He who begot him as a child
You made into a beggar as a child yourself
You then went everywhere just to support
Your own huge belly, I too a child

Oh child of God, in that niche
Encountering one borne after you
Is your heart made of stone?
I pray you look at me *
Defend the moon that lives inside of me

The man beheads the boy with a swipe
And calls him Gana King as his own
The light of the day, the twinkle of the night
He’s still his mother’s child, a nurtured light

Oh child of God,
Exalted in the throne of your father
Solid rock, sacred stone
Tear apart my instincts
Defend the moon that lives inside of me

Into the empty room
The sun casts its anointing hue
And it pastes itself onto your face
I look to it in times of troublin’

I get to get to get to breathe in your air
You inhale through your mouth, your nose, it seems to flare
I look at the light inside of your eyes
And I know to be kind

The warm breeze inside
That flickers the flame in your eyes
The temperament of the wind
It is the holy ghost

And as the flame subsides
Love, defend the moon that lives inside of me

*words by from poem “To Shri Ganesh” by Ramana Maharshi

The Only Dance There Is

Turn yourself around and show your insides
(All around and inside out)
Open up your crown and glow your insight
(Break the door and see yourself)

All of the time you look outside, you see inside yourself
It’s all love

Mother, bring your flood, the lifeblood flowing
(River flows, and grows, it goes)
Wash me through and through, erode my knowing
(Water runs into the sun)

And all of the time I spent in love, my heartbeat beats with you
Oh, beloved
Water runs into the sun

I’m washed in the water

Twirl around and dance with the sunlight
(Suspended lense, refract and mend)
Roll around, make love with the moonlight
(Gentle streams of graceful beams)

All of my fetters fall apart, I fall into a dark abyss
Oh, the bliss

Emptiness, it moves like milk into my womb
A miracle are you
There’s nothing I can do

The only dance there is, no dance is ever done
No bell is ever rung
No song is ever sung that sounds outside of you

All of the time you spent in love
You see inside yourself
It’s all love
Water runs into the sun

Seed sown into stone
Break all my bones, gentle and slow
Home goes with the flow
Goes where it goes, wind never knows

Home is here, home is now, home is here, home is now
Spirit, fill me with light

I’m washed in the water
Karma is grace

Fungus on the dead branch, corpse and dirt
It bears, it bears, it bears, it bears on down

Lift your weary head or lay it down
Wear the fallen branches as your crown
Knowing that this all will come around
Behold, behold, behold the lotus heart
