Trimurti Shadow Men
05:52
|

Take me where I will be
I am you, you are me, and my body burns
Nestle into my bone
In my marrow alone, find your fleeting home
Feel, femur lulls, finger learns
Lackadaisical churns in the chamber ferns
I swear
Grimace a lot
Give it all you got, a leer
Livin’ a lie, but you don’t know where
ayayayaya I swear
I swear
Grimace a lot
Give it all you got, austere
Hope, hyperbole bowl
Chipped edges control the swinging pull
Same, isoforces compress
On a balancing breast, in its place, in its rest
I swear!
Damn, it’s a sham
Penetrate the name, unclear
Livin’ a lie, but you don’t know where
Ayayayayayayayay I swear
Listen to them, all you’ll ever need to hear
Listen to them, all you’ll ever need to
Listen to them, all you’ll ever need
Listen to them, I will never
Listen to them, I will not
Listen to them, I will
Listen to them, I
Listen to them

Giving up or giving alms?
The claw, the paw, the open palm
Calling your name, it isn't the same
As letting the waves form the stone out of the clay
Full of care careful to care
Afraid to pull where I might tear
Kiss on your arm, tickle your palm, stop the alarm
No use in grabbing at smoke
Forming in shapes we long to take
That look like your face just before you awoke
Listen
Untangle
Fold my hand to form a fist
Clinching my teeth, am I forcing my ease?
A new line forms on my face
Battle scars against my kind, do I keep it up or keep it kind?
If I willed it, would it happen as my harping says?
The front of the force
Or would it manifest as my lingering fears break out of their horse
Listen
Untangle
Sediment casting up, casting out, mineral water
Erosion, dams will fall, down the wall, distance, oh hoarder
Give up fear of longing
Aversion is still your clinging

Margot Sea Song
04:55
|
|||
Infinite Mother, you swallow me in your womb
Engulf me, eternal blue, birth-bed and moving tomb
Reaching out your healing hand
Slap my back, withdraw again
A wave's a wave when waning winds
Want it up, crash back again
I see her reaching, blankets on the surf
The light's not breaching into the shadow turf
Mermaid maiden messing in the undertow
Gather treasure and bring it back up to show
To show the depths of Mother's flow
Fierce or still, it's all a show
Calling us down to our knees
And crawling underneath our feet
One, one, one break into all

Same Net
06:07
|
|||
Same as ever, same net
Network working it, shirk it
This is who I really think I am
I am what I am
You am what you am
I am what you am
You am what I am
Yam and avocado
But it never tastes the same as the ripened time before
The beauty of the bore
Breathe
A broken toe in a basket
A piece of porcelain in a basket
Under heat infused
And I don't know what it's like
But something is akin
A distant dream
A melted down memory
Reconstructing in some form
And I tell you it's an image of me
Sometimes it ain't easy
In little times like this it ain't easy
To know what it's like
And how to give it place
And all of my adversing
And validations
I laugh a little loud so you'll see
You think you know who you are, boy
But you're not
But give it a little time and you'll see
Always
Sun at my heart, oh, the mundane glorious
Brought a bit of a brand new hallmark
Bit a breath at the breaking hall
Sat under stands in the auditorium
Sun at my heart, oh, the mundane glorious

Secret One
04:18
|
|||
There's nowhere I can wander
I'm at home everywhere
My life in its present form is no different than the secret one
There's nothing for which I can lust
I already have everything within me
And there's no one who I can miss
I am within them, and they within me
My life in its present form is no different than the secret one
Each doorway welcomes me home
Each object fixes on my throne
Each person lives in my mirror
Each spirit lives in my mirror
My life in its present form is no different than the secret one

Hummingbird
11:30
|
|||
These seeds are sown underneath the ground
They give no yield to the eye
But look, life thrives verily along its way
A seed unseen and uncared for
Finds her way to the air
Un-erred by causes and conditions
She’ll live
'Cause porcelain is better than plastic and wire
I sought with eyes peeled for answers
A hummingbird on the living waterfall
The eyes of the world upon your head
See it's all a mirage, but nothing's a prop
Giver of light, give her a graceful flight
The eyes of the world upon your head
Found the source of living water
Took me downstream to my daughter
Living in the spirit world
She took me by my hands and twirled
Told me to look for her in the hummingbird
She'll meet me there
Look within my mind and body
Close my eyes and see her in me
Open present eternity
Born again, it's her legacy
The eyes of the world upon your head

Winter Solstice
08:09
|
|||
Embracing dark to clear my fear of the shadow
The shortest day of the year is upon us
Awaken to the setting sun
Winter's shady providence
Underneath the snow, a blanket to prevent and preserve
Our goodness, grace will let it grow
Why dress in white when we dwell in such an endless night?
A welcoming featherbed, a cozy place to lay your head
And I'll tell you why I celebrate
What part of me wants to hate
'Cause it takes and it takes what I can't let go of
And it shakes and it breaks all the fetters I stand on
Awaken to the setting sun
All of my scars are the hand of the Artist
Sculpting scripture into my flesh
Our goodness, grace will let it grow
Close all the doors, shut off the lamps
Bring in the night and let me see the light in me
Let me be the light in me

Fill This Raft
06:11
|
|||
Fill this raft with flowers
And let it drift to shore
Whichever way it tends to sway
The flowers will be no more
Fill this raft with pebbles
Formed by the water's flow
And even though it hits the floor
The same fate it will know
Fill this raft with shadows
A hologram of light
It passes on to "gone-beyond"
All empty in the night
Fill this raft with fire
Fierce and burning bright
A wrathful force to speed the course
Of form into the night
Fill this raft with sand
A shore that moves off land
It knows itself is but the Self
Which, too, will reach an end
And once the raft is still
Its nose deep in the sand
Leave it be and go in peace
Into the formless land
